The last to leave

I worked today in a flat where water dripped and memories were tarnished. We rescued what we could. I spent time with a friend which I think was more important then what we could save. Another friend said good bye to a family member which has sadness to it no matter how brave our faces are. I came home hoping to find solace in my family and enjoy the rest of the evening laughting to rid my self of sad feelings. We were told that our youngest has decided to move out in 4 months. What can I say memories are so important, it is the only thing we can hold on to.
