Healing

I have returned from a Mennonite area a people of simple means and wants. They do something I have not been able to do since I was fifteen. Have trust in faith. Accept a deity or follow instructions blindly because of a god. I am some what jealous of those that can that can though away responsibility for them selves and what they do because of what a god, never seen, said to do. It must be nice just to follow rules and not think nor worry how you affect others just as long as you please the god of your choice.Too many have used the excuse I was told to for me to accept this dangerous lack of individual responsibility.

Years ago the young lady that named me CLoud was of native American stock and she gave me a strong sense of individuality and the understanding of cause and effect. A form of the butterfly syndrome. All things affect all other things. This is to say that I sit here after a few years of not feeling on top of the game anymore with health issues listening to music rather than preaching.

Though listening to the healing music of drum and pipe of Native Americans is not curing my aches and ailments it makes my spirit feel better. Is that not what religion should do? Not cause dislike for others and invite to war. So for a little while I have peace until I forget how easy it is to lift one's spirits.

The vunerable ruler

We are such beasts of control strength and leadership. We stand barking orders and inflicting our will on all that submit. Yet should one that submits tell us it is not perfect we view them in error how dare they think of other things. Yes you are right I have come back from seeing King Lear and I am amazed on how I worry that I am that character. One that does not use all the recourses to make good decisions. It is simple to say this is my way or this is how I do it. Those words I learn from a barman . If they do not like the drink just tell them that is how it is made here and they will not be able to say anything.

Perhaps in the day of slaves bought and sold against their will it might be worth something but in days of consensual agreement it is a steppingstone to failure in my belief. SO then the Dom is vulnerable to the critique of others in his position but the one that carries most weight for me is the slave. So their thoughts on a session or of the lifestyle are paramount to me to see how I should bring them along in a journey. Failure in the realm of missing their expectations looses you a good slave. Communication is so important to me that they can speak their mind at anytime. The only punishment would come from rudeness , being derogatory or impolite. The last would be for speaking of things that should be only spoken between Master and slave.

We are so vulnerable when we fail expectations that we some times run for the shelter of I am the Master. We stop what we think is in error without seeking what the problem is. Like little boys fallen out of favor we dig our toes into the dirt repeating under red faces that we are right they will see. Al it would take to bypass the indignation of being human would be to listen and understand what the sub is saying or doing . After all some times a stern look is too much and other times a beating too little!

Ownership

Ownership what really is it? I usually equate it to how much control I have oven the slave. Do I control all the time time she has? Is it that I control the way she thinks? Does my control affect her vanilla life? How dependent is she on me or my contact?

So when I have all the time she can give and more. To me this means that even when she functions in her job and her vanilla family life she still is under my control. Such as she must email me four times a day. she must ask permission to have lunch or meet anyone that is not family. Any decision that affects my time she must consult me on

I do not like doormats it is like toilet paper you use it because it is there You rarely look at it nor know how much you really used. I like free thinkers , I never punish for thinking or expressing views that are not mine. I usually have a library night to make sure they develop their minds . They must be well read and interesting in conversation doormats are great for wiping your feet on but not good for the mind so control of the mind does not mean ownership to me.

Yes my control with affect their vanilla life hopefully for the better. The affect deals more with scheduling. Taking care of their health such as exercising, going to the doctors keeping their bodies and minds in top shape for when I wish to use them.

Mostly ownership comes when they depend more om me then themselves. When they openly trust, when they feel my presence provides all the good things in life they need then I own them. when i tell them to do something and there is no hesitation as they know no harm will come to them, then I own them. SO I would have to say that when i have the maximum control over a slave then I own them. For me it has little to do with contracts or ceremonies it has to do with commitment. I ask them to be my property when I have the commitment.

Tasks , ruless and protocols

Yes there is a difference.

Tasks are one time things that need not be repeated on a regular bases. A task can be assigned as a punishment. Writing of lines is a punishment task though I never use it unless coupled with a strange way of writing such as placing the pen or pencil in the ass or vagina and have them write their name a few times rather fun to watch . A task can be to write a story wear a thong backwards for an hour or go shopping. It can be pleasurable it is just not some thing that repeats without instruction from the DOm . It is usually a physical thing making something or going somewhere.

Rules cover off when the Dom is there or not. Every morning you take a shower if you miss your shower because you are running late well you broke a rule. I have a rule on underwear. A slave is not allowed to wear any if they think there is the slightess possibility of seeing me . Slaves are not allowed to be late. Slaves must be naked in their houses when possible those are rules. Rules guide actions

Protocols guide interaction. How does a slave address another Dom , when do they. How and when do they greet their Dom. Asking permission to enter or leave the room or presence of their Dom. Protocols covering speech ,parties when we are out and when slave is alone with me. When I have a stable then they have protocols when they are together

I give task with deadlines, I have rules that are set in place to keep everything as black and white as it can be. Any infraction to the tasks ,the rule or protocols and punishments follow.

Yes there are rules and protocols governing that also. I of course use punishment tasks for minor infractions.

I sat in my garden most of the day relaxing when I was astonish how many questions arose in me about the garden. In the Spring I have few weeds out , seeds and plants in. The only question is where do I put what.

Now the question of what do I keep ? What should be trimmed? How much or little ? Should I remove an entire bed and re-think the area or grass it over? Should I just leave everything and see what survives?

Very much like relationships, I have always taken the way of trimming a bit and molding with a lot of just letting it grow. OH course there have been a few stubborn ones that would not respond to the trimming and some I had to rip out and start fresh with. I feel if you remove a few of the most objectionable things and let it grow it takes on it's own shape and character. That is the way I like my gardens and relations a little bit of forming, a little surprise and a lot of growth.

Now the big questions when will be the first frost? When will it snow? When should I bring in the indoor plants? Never seems to end oh when is spring?

English or Western

Friends came back from a work shop talking about canning methods.One being English which was described as wind up and hit with all you have .The western being one with build up if I can say soft slaps with the cane then a stroke of awareness. Well I never liked titles and seldom hold to them. I would say that I have used both methods along with many variation.

The English method I only use for punishment. That is where I do not want the sub to get on top of pain and use it to enjoy themselves. I want them to remember every time they sit or move that they did some thing wrong. And just how painful it is to break rules.

The Western method I use only well into a play session. The slower smacks of the cane building up to a crescendo of smacks of the same strength and speed as a punishment. The difference the sub has time to get on top of the pain and uses it to further enjoy the session and finally to orgasm.

I just find it fascinating that the English and Americans put their titles of ownership to a method of chastisement most probably used well before the British stopped dyeing their bodies blue and the Americans were a gleam in the eyes of there English / European parents. really it is just beating someone's ass with a stick or form of a stick. I know in Africa there was a whip made of rhino hide said to the worse burning pain of any whip but I do not remember hearing of an African way of whipping. milla help me out here is there an Australian method of caning? Do you have to hop twice before you hit or does the sub still do the hopping.

So I would like to name a method after myself called the Cloud style which is HIT the dam ass and watch the sub body language. Oh and to honour the land where I live and is darker early each day, called the Darklight style. which is take you sub out on a winter's night with their ass exposed rub their ass with snow wait five to ten minutes and beat their ass. There I feel so good knowing that I have title to methods that some one has done before but now some one will look and say oh he is using the Cloud method. Oh and just in case you think well I will use water instead of snow well that is only a variation so I claim that too.

Okay I will stop there but will ask a question has anyone put their name or claimed "walking" for their country? Is there an English walk, or an American waddle, an Australasian hop or Canadian slide? What about running...................
