Butterflies can't fly they just fall

A poem written many years by anonymous, a very old and prolific witter through out the ages. The witter speaks from the view of a little girl. In it she describe her young life with her two brothers. One she has named a bear and one a dragon. One for his flatulence and the other for his acid tongue. She feels that they tease her for their pleasure and wants to run away but of course cannot not . So she imagines a world filled only with butterflies, having tea and crumpets and wearing frilly white gowns. The butterfly to her is a wonderful being with out a care, no direction nor rules it just flits around doing what it feels and all is right in the world.. After a few years of growth she finds work as a maid then starts to realize that life cannot be made up of only white gowns, tea and crumpets that it must and mostly contains dragons and bears along with many other scary things.

The realization that her fantasy could have never come true, makes her coin the phrase Butterflies can't fly they just fall. Her expectations of life are dashed as she returns to cleaning a small dark room.

After many years of trying to understand how butterflies fly I feel that the woman is right. Butterflies are for fantasies and dreams , dragons fly and breathe fire , bears walk and growl. Butterflies take a while but in the end they just fall

I am off for a short walk about to find out if lions ,tigers and bears do exist so back soon. Perhaps I might even discover dragons that fly and breathe fire, well I can dream too.
